Doreen Charnell - Back-up Vocals

Doreen Charnell was born and raised in Leominster, Massachusetts. She grew up under the influences of a wide variety of artists that included Journey, Boston, Aerosmith, Heart, Fleetwood Mac and Bryan Adams. At the age of 13 she relocated west to the evergreen state of Washington. Her taste in music grew and changed and now included southern rock, top 40 country, R&B, along with good ol' classic rock as well. It wasn't until she was in her 30's that she started to dabble in the band scene. Doreen started out by taking on the task of becoming the lighting tech for numerous south end cover bands. This included such bands as Backstreet Romance, Joyride, Kameleon, and Stir Crazy.

She has never been afraid of the stage, having been pulled onto it numerous times by various bands. Doreen has often been complimented on her natural, energetic stage presence and sweet sounding singing voice so moving into a singing role, just seemed to be the right 'next step'. After 10 yrs of working behind the board, she decided to broaden her horizons and graciously accepted the offer to become one of "Whiskey Creek's" first full time female backup singers. She is confidant this is going to be another awesome chapter in her life and is sure it will bring her new adventures!
