This weekend tow examples of Xeroxed nostalgia play South Sound. The long running regional Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute act Whiskey Creek stops at the Go Club tonight, while The British Invasion replicates the Beatles on Saturday at the Little Creek Casino near Shelton. While the history of tribute bands is somewhat murky and not always well-documented, the movement took off in the '70s primarily to the Beatles. |
