SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL OUR FANS FOR YOUR TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF DIE-HARD SUPPORT!

On August 25, 2007 we had our Twenty-Five Year Anniversary Celebration at the Royal Bear. Of the twenty-two members that have been in the band, twenty showed up to give performances. I can't tell you how great it was seeing all these good men again, how fun it was performing with them and also how FANTASTIC they all sounded! We were also blessed with the exceptional background vocals of Dawn Lindsey and Doreen Charnell (The New Creeketts?). I was honored that they all came out that evening.

It was a bittersweet evening for me. The show was a benefit for The American Cancer Society and we raised a substantial sum. Two day's before the show, my brother Jim who had been battling cancer took a turn for the worse, and four days after the show he passed away. I dedicate this show to my dear brother whom I love very much.

There were many highlights that evening, such as the original line-up of myself, Jeff, Randy, Jim, and Paul playing together for the first time in twenty-one years. But the biggest thrill for me was having my son Zach on stage with me playing lead guitar on " Gimme 3 Steps ". To say I was a proud Pop is an understatment.

My deepest thanks to all involved in making that evening so special: the band members, my wife Cathy, Bill Cook, Craig Arrowood, Dr Dave, Mike Pearce, Gary Draper, Dawn, Doreen, the Royal Bear, and most of all to all you people who came out to celebrate our twenty-five years of Lynyrd Skynyrd music with us.

God Bless You All!

Terry
